K Laser's surgical head uses high powered pulse therapy to selectively target the fungal cells. The laser heats up the infected cells, just enough, and destroys them in the process. The surrounding healthy skin will not be selected in the process and will remain unaffected.
Treatment will always be tailored to you as an individual, but more often than not, three treatments are required in the first week, followed by another 3 treatments a month later. Topical anti fungal agents can be used alongside laser treatment, and you will be reviewed periodically to monitor progress.
